On Sunday at PLAY Expo Blackpool DOOM fan Bill Thorpe will be showing a film about the game he created over three years!

Bill dedicated himself to the creation of his passion project, DOOM. Working tirelessly from his shed in the garden, he single-handedly undertook the tasks of shooting, building, painting, sculpting and editing each scene. Inspired by his initial viewing of EVIL DEAD 2 on Bravo in the 90s, Bill's long-standing dream of bringing a short film based on the beloved game to life finally became a reality!

On viewing the DOOM film, John Romero said "Bill has been a DOOM diehard for years, and his dedication to making DOOM films is second to none. This is his crowning achievement. Sit back and enjoy the work of a master DOOM filmmaker."
